Bote Fote Drumworks is a full service custom drum and repair shop. We specialize in professional quality djembes, dounouns, and other rope tuned percussion instruments built using authentic materials and traditional techniques. Our instruments are custom crafted for the individual musician. We also sell drum building materials and accessories including shells, skins, rings, rope, bells, shekeres, CDs and more.
Our clients include members of Kulu Mele African Dance and Drum Ensemble, Troupe Da-Da Dance and Drum Ensemble, and Magbana Drum and Dance NYC. We provide instruments to music and dance programs at University of the Arts, Penn State, Franklin and Marshall College, and Swarthmore College.
